The Motorized Horizontal Coil Tong Hot is designed to lift hot coils in a horizontal position.  Special heat resistant components such as electrical cables and switches in ceramic or duroplast, mounted in a special developed steel box, allow operating the equipment for hot coils up to max. 900°C and maximum ambient temperature up to 700°C. A welded open tong frame allows fast cooling of the tong during return cycle to pick up new coils.  The electrical circuit to the control box is carried out by plug-in connection with heat-resistant components.
